College of Policing statement

College of Policing Chief Constable Andy Marsh said:

“It is with deep sadness that we learn of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

“Together with the rest of the policing family we offer our profound and sincere condolences to the Royal Family.

“Police officers pledge allegiance to the Queen when they enter the service, and we join the nation in mourning the loss of the longest serving monarch in our history.”
